The reporter’s words
Hi we are neighbours at 503 and 499 Durham St North. Enable contractors used the wrong paint when marking the footpath outside our properties and it is not washing off as it was supposed too. The paint was sprayed on over two months ago and work completed over a month ago. We have both called CCC and Enable repeatedly to have this tagging removed. Some contractors came and sprayed black paint over part of the tagging but this looks just as bad. We were told over 200 St Albans properties have been affected by this use of the "wrong paint" Please sort this out- the city looks rough enough without Council-sanctioned tagging adding to the mess.
