Roading/Streets
Reported Saturday, 4 January 2020 at 10:40 am, 54, Totara Street, Fendalton, 8041, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Extremely dangerous experimental road engineering needs to re completely removed. This has repeatedly damaged vehicle undersides and is raised to a lethal height. It is also positioned dangerously in a driver’s blind spot when turning (especially after dark or when raining). Once the reflective pole has been broken, the concrete island becomes even more dangerous. This quiet street is already narrow and therefore back street users go accordingly slow. Please remove this dangerous, clumsy initiative - for the public good and to prevent further on-going damage to private vehicles.
