The reporter’s words

At this intersection, the growth of the far flax bush is very dangerous. It is too high and blocks the view of oncoming traffic. In the first photo I have taken and attached, if you enlarge it, you can see a vehicle hidden in the foliage. Over the last 5 years, the height of these bushes has grown significantly. I drive a normal Toyota Corolla but someone in a lower car than mine would be totally blind to oncoming traffic. I am very anxious when I pull out onto this major road in our subdivision as even though there is a 40 km speed limit, many cars do not stick to that and I have had a few near misses now. Are you able to remove the larger flax which is causing the problem. I have attached a second photo (not taken in my drivers seat position like the first photo) and you may be able to see another hidden car behind the larger flax bush. The cars are approximately 40 metres from the intersection when they are hidden. As you can appreciate it is not very far to get out of their way. Thank you.
