The reporter’s words
OnSunday morning (yesterday) my partner was taking our grandchild for a pram stroll at Edgar Macintosh Park. A woman with @7 yr old boy was in the paddling pool area with her white ‘bichon’ type dog. Once seen she rapidly exited the pool area. My partner had left her phone at home otherwise you would have had film evidence. My partner attempted to remonstrate with the woman but she kept her head down and basically ran for her car. Later on Sunday we and about twenty others (at 1500) were thoroughly enjoying that same pool. There are no ‘rules’ saying no dogs. There is nothing on the CHC website about dogs either . However there is reference to dogs staying at least one metre away from bark filled playground areas. Its disappointing that some people are short on common sense or born anencephalic. Anyhow we love the paddling pool and so do lots of others. Not sure what you can do and dont want to see another list of rules but please be aware that you cant breed out stupidity.
