The reporter’s words
Many of the new trees put into Long Acre Drive in Cashmere have died. Many have been left dead and the supporting posts are damaged. I understand it is a condition of the consent that they are maintained by the developer for 18 months. This is not being done. Long acre drive is off Worlseys road and is the large new subdivision by the adventure Park. Can you please follow up on enforcement of this condition. The street environment will definitely not decline to its full potential if the trees are not replaced or looked after. It does not seem that the developer is paying this issue much attention. Thanks
