Roading/Streets
Reported Tuesday, 18 February 2020 at 12:47 pm, Clarence Street, Riccarton, 8011, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
In order to stay in the cycle lane, someone riding their bike would have to negotiate the massive lump that is the tube/hose/pipe emerging from the ground that has been levelled out for people to drive in the main traffic flow. I moved out into the main flow of traffic to cross the intersection then back into the cycle lane. Is it possible to extend the length of smoothed out section along Riccarton Rd so that people can cycle across the intersection, keeping left in line with the cycle lane? Maybe this simply wasn't considered during set up and is practically possible?
