The reporter’s words
The timber sleeper edging at the side of the road has recently been removed but there are blocks of timber left behind with nails sticking out of them and a block of concrete sticking out of the ground. This is a big health and safety issue to the public, providing a tripping hazard and dangerous sharp nails which needs to be fixed. (I already have two puncture wounds in my foot from the nails, thank you very much)
