We bought around $100 worth of gifts from this shop. One of these was a jar of raw honey. They confirmed that it wouldn't get confiscated by the border security in Australia and "many" people had travelled with it before. When we arrived in Queensland, it was promptly taken from us. We reached out to the owner asking for potential credit for honey that could be mailed to us or a refund. The owner was rude, said that "it was not financially viable for them to do that", that "the border security was to blame" and that "she has no responsibility to help us". Alex Desvignes, 7 months agoLovely little shop selling local artist works, works are priced well too, worth a visit even for window shopping Made a purchase of a lovely Bee art, the lady at the counter wrapped it with so much love and care (thankfully as it was raining too), can't wait to hang it at home. Fantastic service and chat too. Cheers!
SChan, 2 years agoThis shop owner was so nice! She seemed genuinely interested in us and our stories, and had obvious passion for her store and New Zealand. Literally everything in this store was super cute. Every time I turned around I wanted to buy another item. We did end up buying multiple items, and my cats love their new catnip stick! The location was also ideal right in the Riverside Market.
