Roading/Streets
Reported Wednesday, 4 March 2020 at 3:05 pm, 121 Briggs Road, Shirley, Christchurch 8052, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Intersection of Briggs Rd and the exit from HomeBase/Bunnings. Was parked outside 122 briggs Rd when a Hiab truck tried to exit bunnings and turn right. Driver came close to hitting my vehicle. It is incredibly difficult for vehicles to exit and turn right without hitting the splitter island and blue signs on island. Much less a large vehicle such as a Hiab truck. This intersection has been nothing but trouble since it was installed. Should be left in left out only or heavy vehicles restricted from exiting here.
