The reporter’s words
The new road and ferrymead bridge was only recently completed. The garden and raised islands are completely over grown with weeds. Some of these weeds are about to take over the roading signs. In addition, the gutters and footpaths along major hornbrook road have weeds growing out of control. Some are knee height. It's embarrassing to overseas visitors and a very bad look for chrustchurch. The weeds are disgusting and have been for months. These should be maintained. The new garden should have been maintained. The money spent here is wasted if no one looks after it.
