The reporter’s words
Winchester road in Lyttelton has just been resurfaced however the finished surface is rough loose gravel. This is proving to be extremely dangerous for bike riding and walking and I have seen cars struggling to move out of their parking spot when they’re on a slight angle. Today my son had a terrible fall from his bike when coming to a stop at the intersection. Please can this road be surfaced in smooth asphalt.
