Roading/Streets
Reported Friday, 15 May 2020 at 7:23 am, 19, Stewart Street, Christchurch, Canterbury, 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
I’m an essential worker and my workplace is at Stewart Street. Due to insufficient parking around the hospital, I have to park somewhere else and walk to the office. With winter is approaching, Stewart Street is really dark and I don’t feel safe to walk to work but I have no choice. The attached photos were taken today around 6:30am. Stewart Street doesn’t have enough street lights so it is a hazard to the pedestrians as we may trip and fall despite other safety concerns! I hope city council will look into this and take prompt action as our safety is in your hands. Thanks.
