The reporter’s words

Lester Lane has multiple issues with disrepair. A staff member broke her arm on Monday 15 June after not seeing an uneven surface due to leaves building up in the gutter. In the rain the leaves and rubbish result in flooding and obscure the deep gutters further. The footpaths themselves are in disrepair and on the corner of Deans Ave and Lester Lane there is no longer tar seal on the footpath resulting in mud. This is very dangerous. Please can this street be regularly swept of leaves with gutters cleared and it’s general disrepair attended to before more people are injured. Kind regards Lisa Scott
