The reporter’s words

last time I snapped this I chose 'flooding' but it is due to the 'road drainage' being terrible & not coping and it has been like this multiple times since the chch earthquakes and as rate payers we have had enough. No-one can even walk up the row so is hard for visitors, family, walking the dog & is generally dangerous as I twisted my ankle the other day because you can't see what your walking on. There needs to be a definite upgrade of Wakelin Place's Street Drainage & perhaps there needs to be a grate at the end of the cul de sac not just at the other end where it meets Solomon. We replaced all of our spouting/guttering in summer thinking we had a problem and we again have water coming in the front door today as the drainage gets so banked up it has nowhere to go. Please sort out the drainage we have had enough! Regards Lisa
