The reporter’s words
poor road layout with reduced visibility which makes it unsafe for users espically cyclists. bins are still an ongoing problem as clearly seen in the photo. the blame for this is the layout itself and not residents or users which seems to be the current approach by council staff. the most effective solution would be to remove the layout immediately which improves the layout for all users and residents. given the issues are still ongoing it shows that active neglect towards the issues and staff are not capable of addressing them. since the issues continue to occur this puts users at risk and can result in ijury or worse which is not acceptable and council should act to change the layout to a safer and more effective cycle layout.
