Alcohol rules on this ground one ban zone reaches in
Linwood Village. A public drinking ban, at all times, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, covers about 13% of Linwood.
One sensitive site stands here, Te Pā o Rākaihautū, and the Local Alcohol Policy restricts new off-licences within 200 m of it.
The council’s bylaw zones and the Local Alcohol Policy’s buffer list, read from the Regulatory open-data service. A ban rules drinking in public places; it says nothing about whether a premises may sell, that is the licence register’s job.
