The reporter’s words
Hi The bike/walking track along Heathcote river just after the Ferrymead bridge( city north side) was build up a few years ago with clay and old fill and left unfinished. What we have now is a track that when it rains it’s slippery and the hard fill has come to the surface. This is dangerous. While out walking with my elderly neighbours the other day, one slipped on the mud and the other tripped on an exposed brick and nearly fell. If this part of the track isn’t looked at it is going to get worse and there will be more accidents on it.
