The reporter’s words

Just wondering what the council policy is regarding mowing of the berm. We are just having our property landscaped, which includes no grass. Obviously, I have no reason to own a mower. Previously, I contracted a contractor to mow the lawns that came with our house. I believe he also mowed the berm outside our house. Other properties nearby have no berm. Instead, the developers created parking locations. Now that I have no lawn, I have no reason to have a contractor. So nobody to mow the berm. Across the fence from my property, a new development is coming to completion, for the final stage of Rannoch Drive. Sometime soon the fence will come down, and the road and footpath extended. I would be more than happy for the new developer to create a continuous parking area from their area to mine, if they are inclined. If not, does the council have a policy for keeping berms tidy where residents don’t have lawnmowers?
