Street Light Outage
Reported Tuesday, 13 April 2021 at 6:39 pm, FJCQ+6G Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Some pics to demonstrate the effect lost on New Regent St with the removal of the spotlights. does Council really consider this to be good timing given the struggle businesses are still having to bring foot traffic into this area? And with a potential "bubble" opening with Australia at some point soon (fingers tightly crossed) - what now, is our point of difference and uniqueness for bringing some urban nightlife into this area? This street was gaining fame for its beauty and hum at night - the spotlights being hugely instrumental to this and something businesses us in promotion
