Roading/Streets
Reported Thursday, 22 April 2021 at 10:44 am, 156, Manchester Street, Christchurch, Canterbury, 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
FOOTPATH BRING USED AS ROAD: The pedestrian and cycle footpath immediately outside of Liverpool Terraces, and boarding Rauora Park has become a public safety concern. Certain mapping software illustrate the footpath as the former Woolsack Lane, which no longer exists. Uber’s and delivery vehicles frequently use this footpath with speed, with apartment owners properties opening immediately onto the footpath. The concrete seating / barriers and bollards were removed / repositioned by Fletchers during construction of Liverpool Terraces. These need to be moved back in place / reinstalled to stop vehicles using this footpath immediately.
