Roading/Streets
Reported Tuesday, 4 May 2021 at 7:32 pm, 9 Patrick Street, Mairehau, Christchurch 8013, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
I very regularly (pretty much every school day) see illegal parking on yellow lines at the corner of Mahars Road and Patrick Street (outside 35 Patrick Street). also on the yellow lines directly near the entrance of Mairehau Primary School and right by the school crossing. this regular infringement causes danger to our school children as blocks the view from the school crossing as well as endangering children who cross at these intersections. Could the Council please send out a few traffic police to issue tickets to people who constantly do this? this is very dangerous to the school children
