The reporter’s words

Hi, At the carpark emtrance to the hockey fields, the gravel path has been renewed. To get to the path you have to walk around the tree (photos). The tree has some growth on the trunk, the branches have spines. So, people walk around, either on the road driveway or the drainage ditch. 1. Is it possible for the new growth to be trimed? 2. Is it possible for a foot bridge to go across the drainage ditch, as in wet weather more people will walk round on the road entrance.
