The reporter’s words
The first drain on Akaroa Street/ corner Dawe Street, was covered for road works in March, is still covered. The second drain infront of 2 Dawe Street takes water from Akaroa Street and it floods out on to Dawe Street. Overnight the force of water raised the grating.
