The reporter’s words
The holder for a road sign that has been removed is protruding from the pavement and is a trip hazard. This is right on the southeast corner of the site of the Old Municipal Chambers. The trip hazard is on a blind corner due to the building site signage so it will be easily missed by people walking around the corner. I put a road cone over the protrusion but don't know how long that will stay there.
