Roading/Streets

The reporter’s words
CSR 92122900. The premises of the Krazy Price Mart at 431 Tuam St has a rear entrance from Dearsley Street. The business has recently acquired premises further into Dearsley Street. Dearsley Street is now effectively a loading/unloading zone for the business at both sites, including the parking of unlit containers on the footpath and street. KPM is a busy retailer and wholesaler with large delivery trucks being parked in the centre of the street and across driveways on a daily basis. A forklift is driven between the premises frequently and used on the road to unload trucks. I object to the frequent and prolonged use of Dearsley St as a loading bay, the blocking of the road and the footpath, the unlit containers parked on the street for extended periods, an unlit forklift operating in the street at night and the sense of entitlement to commandeer the street for private business purposes. I will supply further pics when to hand using this CSR. I feel the issue here is that the business has outgrown the premises and the poor utiliisation of space available.
