Roading/Streets
Reported Tuesday, 22 June 2021 at 9:48 pm, 110, Bealey Avenue, Christchurch, Canterbury, 8013, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Obscured vision when leaving medical clinic onto Bealey Avenue. Cars are always parked as close to the yellow lines as possible and although the yellow lines provide a small amount of distance between the exit and the start of the car parking, vision is almost completely obscured when turning left out of the Bealey Centre. First two images from Google, 3rd photo shows how close cars get before you can see them. On such a busy road, and with the nature of the exit being a medical clinic (and I believe possibly also as the driveway for several residences), it’s dangerous to have cars parked so close to the point of not being able to see if it’s clear to pull out onto a busy 3 lane road.
