The reporter’s words

DRIVING ON FOOTPATH: This vehicle just drove down the footpath next to Rauora Park at speed. This is a common occurrence that needs to be stopped as it is dangerous to residents and the public. This has been reported multiple times and nothing appears to be done about it. The concrete barriers at the end of the footpath (on Cashel and Hereford Streets), need to be positioned to stop this behaviour. Cars are using this footpath perhaps in part due to outdated mapping apps referring to the footpath as the former Woolsack Lane. Black MG SUV, rego MZG763 (or MZG765). This is not the shared Huanui Lane, it is the footpath on the other side of the Rauora Park.
