The reporter’s words
The walking and biking track behind the business along the Heathcote river in Ferrymead needs attention straight away before it becomes a fire risk. Whoever did the maintenance on the trees and bush’s along there have just thrown the cuttings in behind the vegetation instead of picking them up and taking it away. A small four wheeler motorbike with a trailer on could easily be driven around there. It will become a health and safety problem this summer if not addressed.
