The reporter’s words

I originally submitted this on 16th Nov 2016 but did not receive a response from you as promised via your automatic email. On contacting CCC today they tell me that you have no record of my previous Snap Send Solve so I am sending this to you again. Since feb2011 EQ there has been mud and silt running off an empty section at 124 Cannon Hill Cres, Mt Pleasant that causes blockages at the drain opposite 12 & 14 Valley View. It has been doing this for 5.5years now since the property was demolished after the EQ. The owner of the empty section is aware of this, However they have no plans to do anything about it. They drive past it every day. This is a main drain and any blockage will have a significant impact. Jackie at CCC contact centre today also advised that there has been a previous complaint about this but there has been no update from CCC staff involved. Here is what she told me today: "In June 2016 a complaint was laid regarding the same issue you described CSR # 92099865. During this complaint Council did a site inspection and from that an email was sent to Bill Townsend (Compliance Officer) for info on CCC requirement for owners to control silt run off from vacant sections" Please can someone update me on what is happening with this issue. Many thanks Tracey Heuston
