The reporter’s words
There is water main leak affecting 257 and 255 Mt Pleasant Road. This is a significant leak and if not corrected may result in substantial house foundation movement and/or retaining wall railing. It started approx 4 weeks ago and was advised to council yesterday. However it is getting worse and needs urgent attention. This same problem was advised 2 years ago and fixed by council after inspection. The property owner at 257 is oblivious to the problem/s. The problem appears to be leaking main water either south side of 157 or leaking under the road from further up the hill.
