The reporter’s words

Hi there, Yesterday and today, Southern Demolition waste Trucks have been using our narrow Gosset street as a “trading” spot. They do not have a job on this street. They are Dumping off full loads from a job somewhere else or empty ones for other trucks to come collect. Sometimes dumped right beside our driveways so we can’t see to back out, or backing into the empty section, further damaging the fragile road surface that hasn’t yet been repaired from previous Southern demolition trucks last year when demolishing 17 Gosset st, they wheel spun an articulated heavy truck while delivering demolition equipment, and broke road surface. We are now dealing with deep, bad potholes on our road, so think that using our street as a trading spot, is pretty bad… they are making it worse. We need our potholes dealt to ASAP, and also, Southern Demolition shouldn’t be able to use a little narrow street like this as their “trading” spot multiple times a day.
