Roading/Streets
Reported Wednesday, 26 January 2022 at 10:53 pm, 132, Tuam Street, Christchurch, Canterbury, 8011, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
On the footpath at this location there is a round sink hole of approximately dinner plate size and over the last couple of months it’s depth has increased to about 5 inches. As a fit 40year old I have rolled an ankle in it already. It is a hazard that could cause another pedestrian (especially if partially sighted) to roll/break an ankle or fall and do more damage. It will perfectly fit and stop a scooter wheel in motion.
