The reporter’s words
Most Saturdays this summer a group of motorcyclists have been riding up and down the red zone opposite my home. Today - three hours so far. Really noisy and annoying, my kids can’t play there anymore. I’m wondering if this is permitted, and if not, could someone in a position to do so please come and talk to them. I tried to talk to one of them because they turned in front of my daughter I while we were trying to cross the road (they were on the road at this time), they didn’t indicate- had no indicators and the man riding swore at me and abused me. No helmet, no plates, riding with his kid on a bike not designed for pillions. 105 report to police got no response and most of the time they are on the red zone, not the road anyway. Really tired of the noise and other residents have complained they’ve used the pedestrian/ cycle paths in an unsafe way too.
