The reporter’s words

The pedestrian lights outside 226 Barbadoes Street r still not working this is not good enough School kids use these lights I pushed the button this afternoon on my way to pick my daughter up from school and they didn't show up this NEEDS to be fixed I had to run across the the pedestrian crossing when the traffic lights changed just so I could get across I reported this 3 February 2022 which was the second day of the school year for my daughter's school bear in mind if anything happens to a person using this pedestrian crossing and by anything I mean if a child gets hit because these pedestrian lights haven't been fixed it will be on ur shoulders and conscience the sooner these pedestrian lights r fixed the better, I use these when I take my daughter to and from school since Christchurch East School renovations have been completed that includes 5he main entrance into the school which means it's now easier for me to take my daughter to school this way as it is the shortest way to get to school now I am not the only parent from that school who uses these pedestrian lights that is why it's important to get them fixed urgently!!!
