Roading/Streets
Reported Wednesday, 25 January 2017 at 4:28 pm, 1016, Ferry Road, Woolston, 8023, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Road has been dug up in 3 separate locations across the westbound lane and back filled in an extremely poor and dangerous standard. The 'finished' surface is gravel up to about 20mm diameter which is strewn across the whole road. The result is excessive dust every time a car drives over it. The surface is impassible for cyclists without serious risk of falling off or puncture. Whether further works are planned here or not the surface needs to be sealed for safe passage of road users, this is a main thoroughfare from sumner to town.
