Roading/Streets
Reported Saturday, 5 March 2022 at 5:11 pm, Armagh Street Bridge, Canterbury 8013, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Please evaluate west approach of Armagh St at Park Tce for zebra crossing. Pedestrian and cyclist crossing volumes are well in excess of the thresholds suggested in the old TRAFINZ report. This crossing is a crucial link for non-motorised routes in all directions while the road is a low-volume carpark access. This change would easily be supported by Waka Kotahi Pedestrian Network Guidance as well as CCC transport strategies and guidelines.
