The reporter’s words

When approaching Cameo Grove from the North heading South towards the porthills. There is a hazard for pedestrians. There is a blind spot meaning that cars heading down Cameo Grove towards Burwood road cannot see you until you are almost in the middle of the intersection. Previously this wasn't much of an issue as I it was a quiet no exit street. But now that ot has been opened up to traffic from Prestons Park there is a lot more traffic using this road and they pick up quite a lot of speed too. We were almost hit by a driver the other day who we could not see until the last moment.
