Roading/Streets
Reported Tuesday, 10 May 2022 at 3:49 pm, 58 Windermere Road, Papanui, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
A fire hydrant that doesn’t have the usual yellow ring to warn would-be Parker’s of its presence. Often hard to spot with autumn leaves. We suspect that one of the constabulary drives down Windermere Rd regularly judging by the number of visitors who get pinged. With rising costs a $40 fine is NOT welcome. Whatever happened to the white & red concrete FH signs that were always adjacent to hydrants?
