Roading/Streets

Reported Wednesday, 22 June 2022 at 8:48 am, 297-299 Manchester Street, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8013, New Zealand.

The reporter’s words

Pedestrian and cycle signals have been completely disabled at the traffic lights across Manchester Street, just north of the Avon River. The beg buttons do nothing. The pedestrian path heading north from the traffic lights on the east side of Manchester Street has been blocked off for construction, with a sign asking pedestrians to cross to the other side. But the lights are disabled and there is no safe way to cross.
