Roading/Streets
Reported Tuesday, 9 May 2017 at 6:37 pm, Humphreys Drive, Woolston, 8023, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Please could you spray or remove the gorse which is starting to grow along the edge of the road and estuary before it seeds. This is a highly invasive and noxious plant and will be hard to control if allowed to spread. It threatens the nearby Charlesworth wetland reserve which is of ecological significance. IIt is also extending into the cycle path. The gorse has started to flower so control is urgent. Thank you.
