Rubbish/Recycling
Reported Tuesday, 20 June 2017 at 9:31 am, 186, Geraldine Street, Edgeware, 8013, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
And vandalism. Yesterday while walking up Geraldine Street, I saw 2 youths smashing up on the footpath computer monitors which had been dumped on the forefront of this abandoned site. There are glass fragments on the footpath. The unkempt nature of this site is directly leading to these problems of dumping and vandalism. It has been brought to councils attention previously and nothing has been done to enforce a clean up. There are many older timber houses neighbouring the large site and if a fire were to be started, the risk to the area is high. Council needs to take positive action!
