The reporter’s words
Storm water sump filled with silt. Both sides of the road need to be vacuumed out. We water runs into these it is not draining down the stormwater line- it is sweeping out under the road/keen and channel and leeching out of the footpath below as shown in photo one. It is also leeching out of the grass berm 7m lower down the hill. I have been monitoring this issue for the past 3 months and believe this is a major cause of the water issues. A number of neighbours lower down the hill are having an unusual amount of water pouring out of retaining walls and flooring there sections. Urgently needs to be vacuumed put. I have been in touch with the council for 3 months about this issue and have not seen a great response. Would really appreciate your prompt actions to clear these two dumps out and hopefully this fixes the problems. Will let all the neighbours know what's causing the issues up here. Please let me know when these can be cleared out.
