The reporter’s words
Can Waimairmi Beach access and more importantly egress be attended to please. For about 2 years the boardwalk has been rolled up and the sand is now up to the level of the handrail! I have included 2 photos of 2 paths at the level of Aston Drive. I understand that there are plans to put a boardwalk in from Brighton to Waimairmi Beach - but it will be some years I imagine before that is completed - in the meantime locals and others need safe and easy access to the beach. Many thanks Rosemary Parker
