Roading/Streets
Reported Monday, 15 January 2018 at 11:51 am, 30, Cannon Hill Crescent, Mount Pleasant, 8081, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
The footpath outside our house and our neighbours is becoming more and more dangerous especially with the number of older people living here. As you can see in the photos that the footpath is becoming increasingly bumpy and since I have lived here ( 6 months ) increasing in size. It is very soft to walk on and eventually someone is going to fall through it as it's hollow under the Tarmac, holes developing. I have spoken to our elderly neighbours and they are very careful when walking out from their house to the footpath. With the water problems we continue to have on our hill I am sure that there is water leaking under the footpath which is probably causing the land under the Tarmac to disappear.
