Parks
Reported Saturday, 24 February 2018 at 3:20 pm, Manchester Street, Christchurch, 8011, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
There is an area of smooth concrete by the water features at Margaret Mahy Park which is extremely slippery when wet. Every single time I've been to the park I have seen at least one child slip over. It is only a matter of time before someone hits their head and seriously injures themselves. There are other areas where the concrete is rough which is not slippery. Please can someone come to the park on a sunny day (I.e. When there are children in the water) and just oberve this to see how much of a hazard it is. Thank you.
