Roading/Streets
Reported Friday, 2 March 2018 at 2:03 pm, 301–307, Mount Pleasant Road, Mount Pleasant, 8081, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Many residences have serious concerns about this large bump on Mount Pleasant Road. In order to drive over at a safe speed, the driver would need to be driving at 10 km/h. In order to drive around the bump, the vehicle would have to be veer over 60% into the opposite lane. This is a dangerous accident waiting to happen as it sits on a tight blind corner, so the one coming traffic can not see / you as the driver can not see if there are any oncoming traffic. With the addition of pedestrians, often school children nearby, cyclists cycling at very high speed, this is a very dangerous spot that needs to be addressed urgently.
