Roading/Streets
Reported Tuesday, 27 March 2018 at 3:09 pm, 97, Cambridge Terrace, Christchurch, 8013, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Workers are currently working on the footpath at the base of the Bridge of Remembrance steps having removed the asphalt paving over the last day. There are 2 now redundant traffic light poles in this area which I assume will be removed at some stage. Would it not make sense to remove these now before the new paving is laid such that the new paving they are about to lay is not damaged or have to be replaced again when the poles are removed.
