My neighbour has just completed this large pergola at his home at 8 Days Rd, Lyttelton and I am wondering if he got consent for this as its now been roofed? He has a building company ( Bevan Anderson Ltd ) so surely is operating within the CCC rules? But I know when I built a room on at my house 8 years ago, the consent officer was very though as we live in a high wind zone. This structure can be seen from the road, so I would appreciate if my name and my query was kept anonymous if the CCC follow this through. (Also while driving past I have noticed the backside of the stop sign and pole it's on has been painted to match the house beside it on the corner of Rippon Street and St Davids Street in Lyttelton, which I would of thought wouldn't be allowed?!)
