The reporter’s words

There is no joining break in the curb for the footpath crossing on Lakewood Drive on one side. It’s there on the side turning left onto lake terrace drive, but is missing on the right hand side. Pedestrians are required to walk down the oncoming traffic turning lane to a residents footpath in order to safely cross. This is an accessibility issue as wheelchair users would be expected to move into traffic to use a break in the footpath
