The reporter’s words

This is the verge outside our house at 38 Courtenay street -it never gets any attention other than the odd weed spraying session. Our rates increased last year and will do so again over the next two years. We are asking for some of that money to go into the maintenance of this verge. It’s messy, quite unsightly and a little embarrassing. Can the council put down more bark, and plant some vegetation, possibly some grasses? Generally clean up this area?
